Molti di voi ricorderanno il progetto OLPC (One Laptop Per Child) promosso dal guru Negroponte. Per coloro che non conoscono l'iniziativa, un invito a leggere il post ,che avevamo pubblicato a Gennaio, su MauoNkids dal titolo: "Computer facile ed economico per bambini".
Ritorniamo volentieri sull'argomento in occasione del lancio della campagna di marketing il cui claim è "Give one, get one". Con questa iniziativa, i residenti di Canada e Stati Uniti hanno la possibilità concreta di contribuire all'educazione di un bambino povero: comprare due computer portatili low cost,il famoso "$100 laptop" creato da Nicholas Negroponte, e regalarne uno a un bimbo del cosiddetto Terzo Mondo. Difficile immaginere la frustrazione e il senso d'impotenza che attanaglia genitori alle prime armi davanti al pianto incomprensivo del proprio neonato.
Da questa esperienza è partito un progetto che ha portato alla realizzazione del prodotto Baby Crying Analyser. Si tratta di un device che analizza il pianto dei bambini e ne traduce il bisogno sottostante come fame, sonno ecc. in un messaggio chiaro per i genitori.
